Elise Mellor--A Young Downhill Skier's Survival Story
ADIRONDACK LIFE January/February 2012

A decade ago Elise Mellor wasn't expected to live a normal life. Now she attends Castleton State College, in Vermont, and doesn't bemoan what others would consider a raw deal. "It comes up in conversation with friends at school because it's part of me-part of what makes me me," she said.
